Light and refreshing, our lemon and acerola gelato is an invigorating blend of two powerful fruits. Lemon, of course is a classic sorbet flavour. There is a perfect balance of acidity in this flavour that is extremely satisfying and refreshing.
Acerola is a shrub whose small fruits look remarkably like… cherries! Acerola berries, originally grown in sunny tropical and subtropical countries, are a powerful superfruit and are exceptionally rich in vitamin C. Did you know that the small fruit has up to 30 times more vitamin C than classic citrus fruits? The acerola berry is also a great source of fibre. The fusion of lemon and acerola creates an invigorating and incredible tasting combination.
